REACT trainees will play a critical role in the success of the ACT research and overall project. Not only will they enable novel work on active coatings for water collection and filtration, suppression of surface-mediated transmission of diseases, and energy conversion and storage, they will be an integral part of the REACT community. As such, trainees will participate in intra- and inter-ACT group meetings, virtual meetings with international partners, and the REACT annual symposium. They will participate in the program components designed for their cohort (e.g., international research, industrial internships, teaching Critique Sessions, professional development workshops) and will have many opportunities to share their research (and love of science) for REACT outreach to undergraduates and to the public.
